See how these young ladies are for the first time in touch with a steel pan. It is the ONLY instrument that was invented in the 20th century in Trinidad and Tobago. A steel pan is a hand made an instrument out of an oil barrel. For many hours the material needs to be “ponged” in the right way to generate the sweet sound.
